GROOVES (song, artist, drummer)
What exactly is a groove? Simply, a groove is a rhythm that makes you move (dance, tap your foot, bob your head, etc.) Below I have listed some of my all-time favorites. It is an eclectic mix. In some cases, the drums are what 'makes' the groove. In some others, such as "Get Up, Stand Up," it is not only the drum track, but where the bass guitar sits. Notice how in the verses, Family Man plays his part somewhere between a straight and swung feel.
Enjoy!
